How to accept Jesus as your personal Saviour

Jesus' says that we must be born again to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. 

John 3: 1-6 1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 

Jesus was sent to be the ransom for our sins, God sent him so that we could be saved from eternal damnation.

Mark 10:45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. ( [KJV])

John 3:14-18      14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. He came and died for you that you may have salvation, you can become born again. You can become a child of God, through Jesus Christ, if you will accept him into your heart (receive) Here is what the scripture says in John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: ( [KJV])

Understand that what will not save you!!!

Works will not save you

Just being a good moral person will not save you

Getting baptized and becoming a church member will not save you.

Giving to the poor, the church, charities will not save you

These are all GOOD things to do after you become a Christian, but they will not save you. You must be saved by Grace, you must accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and become born again. Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. [KJV])

Here are some scriptures that can show you how you can accept Jesus into your heart. 

1. We  must acknowledge God as the Creator of everything, accepting our humble position in God's created order and purpose. Romans 1:20-21    20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. ( [KJV])
